Senior Planning and Commissioning Support Manager

We are looking for an innovative and energetic professional to be our new Senior Planning and Commissioning Support Manager.  In this role you will be leading an experienced team of specialists partnering with DHBs and other health sector organisations to provide a coordinated approach to planning, and systems improvement.   

You will engage with and work across the organisation and the wider health sector to identify new business opportunities, create new value added or improved services, and oversee the implementation and delivery of these. 

To be successful in this role you must be:

  • Highly strategic, and able to quickly engage and develop credibility and trust with key stakeholders
  • An experienced people leader, with a motivating style and able to coach and further develop your team
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, be adaptable and agile in our ever changing environment
  • Capable in maintaining large work programmes, and demonstrated success in operating at senior business advisory capacity in service improvement and/or planning. 
  • An exceptional communicator with top notch writing and negotiation skills

Whilst your background doesn’t specifically need to be in the health sector, you will bring all round commercial smarts, with evidence of developing new business opportunities and working through complex environments and sectors to deliver value-add services.

Venue & Facilities Coordinator

  • Permanent role, based in central Wellington
  • Rewarding health sector role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced venue coordinator to get in on the ground floor to assist with the success and smooth running of our meeting and collaboration venue – Front + Centre.

In this role, you will be responsible for backroom and hands-on support for visitors, users of the space, and staff.  You will be the first point of connection for venue coordination and technology support; as well as providing wider organisational support.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance of the web-based booking system, from enquiry to delivery
  • Set up and break down of rooms (including technology requirements) and track equipment
  • First point of technology assistance for visitors and users, able to troubleshoot common technology issues
  • Proactive maintenance of web based tools, such as website and booking system
  • Assist with all organisation and venue facilities issues

To be considered for this role you must be someone who has:

  • Exceptional experience in venue coordination support skills
  • Excellent customer service and support skills
  • Technology literate, including experience in web administration and backend processes
  • Experienced with hands on facilities support including building security
  • Great initiative, with proven ability to multi-task, and manage a high volume of work
  • Ability to usually work 7.30am to 4pm (to provide weekday venue cover 7.30am to 6pm with the Manager); with some flexibility to occasionally cover after-hours events
  • A business administration (or similar fields) qualification is an advantage

Programme Consultant – Safe Staffing Healthy Workplaces Unit (SSHWU)

We are seeking an exceptional candidate with extensive experience in the health sector to join our Safe Staffing Health Workplaces team as a Programme Consultant. If you have a good grasp of how complex systems work and can work effectively with people at all levels, then this may be the role for you.

The Programme Consultant will work with and support DHBs and health unions to plan and implement whole of system approaches to Care Capacity Demand Management. You will be working within a supportive team environment that is tasked with the implementation and supporting the Care Capacity Demand Management (CCDM) programme.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • An in-depth knowledge of the NZ health system and at least 5 years recent employment in a senior health related role (clinical, management, education or policy)
  • Proven group facilitation and relationship management skills
  • Sound knowledge of health informatics/analysis
  • Demonstrated project development and management skills

Executive Assistant to Chief Executive

We are looking for a superb Executive Assistant to support our CE and join our dynamic, hardworking team at TAS.  The ability to stay two steps ahead of our busy CE and connect with staff, stakeholders and customers at all levels will be key to your success.

Crucial to this role is the desire to work for a worthwhile purpose – supporting New Zealand’s health sector and the capability to effectively manage work demands and changing expectations, while remaining approachable, and professional.        

Day to day you will be responsible for managing our busy CE’s diary and correspondence, preparing documents and presentations, managing travel, secretariat duties for internal and external meetings and working with the Senior Leadership team, and more. 

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Previous experience providing highly professional executive support services to a CE and / or senior management
  • Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills ( written and oral)
  • Strong engagement, motivation and professionalism in your work, and are solution focused
  • The ability to multitask, establish priorities, and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
  • Excellent ability to comprehend and reframe information for minute taking
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Familiarity with the health sector is highly desirable.
